Two members of noc.uk, possibly the UK's leading Internet Based CS Clan, are retiring from CS. Earlier today I received a Press Release from Team Nocturne's new Commercial Advisor, Paul Meakin (aka Gansta):

Both team members are leaving the team as they feel that they can no longer commit to the heavy training schedules and numerous LAN tournaments, due to other personal commitments.

Sam (aka Rigs) the founder or Team Nocturne stated, “The team is going to miss them both. They have not only been exceptional team members from the start and helped the team aspire to its current position, but they have also become good friends. I understand their reasons for quitting the team and hope that they will stay in touch and still follow the progress that Team Nocturne will make”

With Blaze and Messiah retiring from the team, this leaves a void that needs to be filled. Exciting times are due for Team Nocturne, and now the team needs team members that can offer full commitment to ensure that the success of the team continues. Team Nocturne will be looking for one or maybe two new team members. Sam (aka Rigs), the team captain will be handling all hopefuls and be organising trials to see who meets the mark required.

"Commercial Advisor?" I hear you say, well Paul Meahin has joined up with noc to create "the games first true semi-pro team, built on a Limited company". Is this the next step to making Online Gaming a Pro Sport? with big money and wages? Paul states "The aim is to attract true commercial sponsors who can now contract to a commercial entity. The idea has been received well by the possible sponsors and investors that already have been approached."
