The CPL World Championship main bracket kicked off yesterday, after qualifying had been completed without any big scalps being taken.Four Kings (#8 seed now) took on 57th seeds, Hardtastic. They progressed to the next round without much trouble at all by winning the first round 11-1 (as CT), then starting off the second round 2-3 (as T) (HLTV demo/XSR demo). This meant they had the required 13 rounds and were through to the next stage.
For those that don't know, the championships are using max rounds (12) rules, where there are 2 halves of 12 rounds each played, meaning that if a team reaches 13 rounds they've won.
Although the first round of matches aren't complete yet, most of the top teams have progressed, either by easy victories or gaining byes to the nezt round. They include NiP, X3, SK, SoA, aT, mTw, WeW, TSO, TAU. As I say, there are some top teams still to play (such as PaG, d6, Infernum), but those are just a selection of the main teams that have qualified.
