Over at #NiP on QuakeNet they've released a short statement explaining their decision to rejoin competitions based on online activity. There are several reasons for this matter. Starting with the fact that upcoming LAN events have not yet been schedueled from the major organisations. So we want to stay sharp with good "game/match" competition beside normal scrimms/pcws. Second reason is community wise, its important for ourself and fun for our community that you all can watch us play offical games. We feel that this game have to expand from there it all began. It growed from online gaming so why not encourage that. It's a small statement but more is promised soon. Catch the rest of it here.

I guess this only shows that "pro-gaming" is nothing but a little boys dream. Competitive fun (gaming) is what it's all about, and luckily there are plenty of clans who can do without all the "pro" aspirations... [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
