Natural Clan Cycle?

An interesting short article has popped up over on Domain of Games. Written by Saxet, it focuses on the natural cycle that he feels all clans/players go through:

"As we approach the next championship, you will see 3 waves of clan hopping. First wave will be in anticipation of autoberth qualifiers, it will be spread out and not too noticeable. Second wave will be after autoberths have been assigned, as good players leave clans with no autoberthfor clans with an autoberth, again, this will be spreadout depending on how close together all the autoberths tournaments are held.

The final wave will be in anticipation of the championships as clans struggle for that one or two last great players, or some people burnout prematurely and have to be replaced."

He goes on to talk about the need for distinction between a 'clan' and a 'team'. He has some very interesting points, well worth a look.
