Eurocup 5 invitations completed !!

The Eurocup 5 teams have been announced and to represent the UK will be noc.uk and Infinity-eSports (4k). Also, dNC will be representing Ireland. Good Luck guys!

Their progress through the cup will be displayed on UKT, so keep checking back for updates.

	Gattuso 22:18 5/2/2002	Im not sure it'll be the most competitive, seeing as GoL are not in it due to member probs and SoA havent been invited.. yet. Also M19 weren't invited. 	DArtagnan` 09:49 6/2/2002	I spent a week in korea with M19 Vert, they were at the level of the others, they beat Kompaniet in practice there (kompaniet beat nordic to get there) and in the actuialy tournament they lost 13-11 to Allstars, when infact Allstars were very lucky, i was standing behind scratch last round 1vs3 and he turned the corner and they were all lined up for a 3 kill spray M19 are a class team. Just waiting to see SoA added to the eurocup, and it'll have been a v good selection. Surprised to see aAa not invited with aT though. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

	VespR 16:01 6/2/2002	EC uses trust. At that level people assume you don't cheat, though most anti-cheat programs can be used provided the clans agree to them. One of the NiP members said he thought there were a few "suspected" cheaters in the last EC, personally I doubt it. Though there was that incident against CSA when one SK player used the bug in prod to see where they were coming from, but aside from exploiting bugs I don't think anyone is stupid enough to use outside progs for aimbotting and wall hacking. You gotta be pretty brave with the entire CS European community looking over your back. GL to all those clans participating and gl oppie and DArtagnan at Primary Strike. Obviously xceed is right in terms of the very top reputable clans, but there are weaker clans in the eurocup, and being an on-line competition will take any advantage they can get away with to suceed. I do hope they enforce some sort of anti cheta measure, it's a shame they're needed, but better safe than sorry. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
