DoP Take CAL CS-Invite Title

Last Night, X3 and DoP (America's top two clans) met in the final match of the CAL CS Invite League, on de_dust2. Much to the surprise of many people, DoP ran out 13-11 winners over X3, who recently finished second at the CPL World Championships.

• DoP 7-5 Xtreme3 (DoP as CT)
• DoP 6-6 Xtreme3 (DoP as T)

"As the shock seems to wear off the USA community, DoP seems to be just releasing what they had done. Early scene had many believing that the match could be replayed due to a pause during the second half. X3 disputed at first but then backed off giving props to DoP on their win.

“Its no secret X3 has a lazyboy attitude towards online matches and tonight it didn’t work out for us,” said Morgan (Bullseye), of X3, “Kudos to DoP on their title, they wanted it more and deserve it.”

He went on to say that X3 really only treat online play as practice for LANs, and that they hadn't practiced as much as they could've. However, Field (DoP), claimed that it must go down as an upset that DoP's new team line-up could beat such an established clan. Check out the full info.
