The CS Crossfire - Shutting Down

The much loved CS Crossfire has decided to close down, stating the lack of active writers and controversy as its main reasons:

"After about a year of setting out what we, uh, set out to do, The CS Crossfire is shutting down. We don't have any active writers and there isn't a whole lot of controversy to cover in the community anymore. I'd like to thank everyone who made the site interesting (in no real order): Steyr, disabled, Evil_Sheep, Family Dog, aeflux, Mortin, asspennies, and everyone who disliked my treatement of innocent Ksharp.

This site accomplished what it set out to do: make a really good discussion site relevant to Counter-Strike. Now, rather than have the entire site fester off and die, I have decided to shut down the site. I really have no intention of returning, but asspennies insists that we should leave that door open in case we decide to make a comeback."
