I dont really follow the cs scene anymore, but at first glance id have thought we could have got a better set of 10 clans than the ones above. 	ryano theb0g 16:10 21/3/2002	I speak of these clans as representative of the UK scene cos lets be honest we're rated as a middle of the road cs nation when it comes to skills so maybe with a bit of support one of the UK teams can do well. As for weak teams I think they are a selection of some of the better UK clans that haven't gone to the Eurocup, not all because it was a 3 round knockout to get this position so some clans haven't got through and likewise some clans haven't entered. 	DK Stalk Confront Engage Eliminate 22:45 21/3/2002	No deean, Just some players :P Honestly though, I hope we play well, we still seem to have problems when playing on crap foriegn servers (something we trying to get used to). I'll be very dissapointed if we don't get into the KO stage. I think LCA got a good chance if they click, and wish Ecore to be able to get in aswell, that would be good for UK clans. 	.dNC.Verifyor 01:13 22/3/2002	Alvin has a point. 2 opencup seasons ago a UK team reached the semi (#) and the final (-CSA-). Then last season it was a quarter (.dNC). The standard was high last year but that's no excuse, we really didn't show. LCA / LR / UI are teams I have played against and are good but you have to work hard and be special on a map against a german or scandanavian clan as they will have worked a lot more than any UK clan. That's why we're second rate partially kus we don't play it enought due to not having a competitive league or LAN (mainly). [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

	lca.mag 08:12 22/3/2002	uk teams don't usually fair too badly in the opencup, theres been at least 1 uk quarterfinalist in it every season since the first (sa/lca/csa/dnc). I think the uk selection is weaker than usual but then I'd say thats true of the competition as a whole, there aren't as many really good clans as usual. Of the 8 quarterfinalists last season 4 are in the eurocup this time round so I could see 1 or 2 of the uk clans going quite far, depending on the draw. LR looked very good when we played them recently so they could do well. We've just got a few new faces in and started playing on a fairly regular basis for the first time in months so we will do alright too with anyluck. Not sure whats happening with ui atm as I have been following the past week or so. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

But the way TPF and LA are or did go the later isnt going to happen and online cfg is god. ATM clanbase is a farce cos everyone is cheating or just hording points trying to look good in a ladder thats worthless and other tournies seem to play f***ed up rules that ppl looking to practise MR12 wont touch. 	kaids- 17:10 22/3/2002	if the groups on the roster pages are correct then it looks like it will be an interesting cup. the groups seem to be of 8 clans each; i noticed LR have Ocrana, uG and Insanity Circles in their group, tough matches. ui have SeeN, o0 and pod among others (looks like a nice group imo). while LCA and marine have been drawn together along with TRCC and nf! 	Sarge 17:19 22/3/2002	the main UK teams have got some hard matches to play, but tbh, what do u expect . our hardest game will probably be ocr, followed by uG, i dont know alot about the other teams but IC have been mentioned a bit. if the main UK teams can get to the play off's i think it wud be great, whether it will happen or not is another matter btw is it top 2 from each group that progresses?
