United Admins Release CSGuard V.8

Yesterday United Admins announced their first official release of CSGuard (versioned 8.00). But although it is their first release since they acquired the source from OLO, it will also most likely be the last under the name 'CSGuard':

'"CSGuard has been implemented on many servers that are not running the counter-strike MOD," said Nick "HoundDawg" Slevkoff, UA Chairman. "For this reason, we will be renaming the project and start working on a lot more changes we've pushed off until we released this quick version."'

Apparently many of the changes in this version of CSG are dependent upon the results of Valve's upcoming CS 1.4 and HL 1109 releases scheduled sometime in the first half of this next week. Among the planned changes are additional configs support features worked into the DLL, encrypted official configs, new cheat detection system, GUI editor, and professional installer.
