Today, after lil joined IeS, oppie announced he is leaving the clan.After joining clan B!TCH 2 years ago, he played a important role in the 4k team that beat clan noc in the CPL UK qualifiers and then jet off to Dallas where they finished 9th-12th in the CPL finals and did the UK proud. AS the team changed names for the 3rd time, oppie decided after 2 great years, it was time for a change.
oppie had this to say:
(oppie): It all started off in clan B!TCH 2 years ago, then the great merge with 4K and now in ends with I-es. I decided to quit for several reasons. First of all i did not see a future for me in I-es. I think the best thing has been CPL Dallas for us, together with TPF tournament and the ps2002 and i9. I am leaving because i dont really see a future as a team together with the possible plans of I-es becoming totally UK based. The most important thing to reach something is to believe in being able to reach something. For me personally that faith is no more, therefore it is time to move on. I am convinced that I-es will still have lots of opportunities without me and i wish them all the best. There are no concrete plans to join another team. I will have to think about alot of things and ofcourse will be playing for Holland in #Team-NL. Thanks and goodluck to everybody. oppie.I am sure IeS will still miss the dutch influence of oppie despite lil recently joining. UKT wishes good luck to oppie and his future.

Seems like oppie and darth made big lans around the world. And even the smaller ones like multiplay lans.
Respect is only so much at the end of the day.. I know I-es will be more respected if they were to be UK only, but are they just giving in to the community?
My point and question is, I'm struggling to see why oppie feels it neccasary to part terms with I-es due to the fact their future is moving towards a UK only team. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
