Heart of an AWPer: Chapter 4

Ryo, who has pretty much discovered a new way to write violence, over at CS Central has finished up the fourth chapter in his "Heart of an AWPer" series; those R rated stories that have a small place in out hearts. Chapter Four takes place in the desert. Here's a tidbit:

The sound of gunfire and the "whoosh" of missiles jerked him back to his senses. A NOD gunship wheeled overhead, firing pods of missiles into the soldiers below. Terrorists swarmed over the rear of the base from helicopters, forming a defensive line. Two tanks from the base's vehicle store roared out of their garage and fired at the snipers on the outcrops.

It's a good story and definetly worth a look. They're shaping up to be quite a nice series.
