Gainward UK CPL Qualifiers

It's been a long time in the waiting but after a hectic weekend of localised Counter-Strike events, The VGA has now confirmed all of the qualifying teams taking part in this weekends Gainward UK CPL Qualifier, at The IT Centre in Northampton:

Northampton: Erm
Slough: Eikosia
London: Twisted Reality
Merseyside: [SCEE]
Canterbury: Clan One
Leeds: Lancity^Inept
Berth 1: Infinity-Esports
Berth 2: Nocturne
Berth 3: Does Not Compute

It all kicks off next Saturday on the 6th July (9am start) and spectators are welcome. Also due to the lack of hotels (racing weekend is cited as the problem) The IT Centre has decided to run an all-nighter after the competition. Apparently demand is high though, so you need to call them to book a place.

The VGA will be releasing team seedings and other event information shortly.

	arma 15:40 3/7/2002	surely they could host 2 or 3 HL-TV proxies on 256k upload, which in turn some people with a fat-pipe (i-es, hint hint) could connect to them an run multicast? afterall its what it was designed for. That way every1 who wants to can watch without it lagging every1. and there was nothing special about the holiday comment, just a simple comment because im bored stiff at work :) - and norfolk isnt exactly spain or florida is it :P but is all i can afford :( [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
