CB Open Cup UK/IE Qualifier Changes

The Snoopster sends word that a few minor changes have been made to this seasons Open Cup. Here are the words from the horse's mouth:
"We have decided to increase the number of Dvision2 teams for the Open Cup to 96. This means more clans will be able to participate and qualify from each region's qualifier. For the UK/IE qualifier now 96 clans will be chosen out of 120 to participate, of which 12 will advance to the main tournament."

02:42 6/9/2002		 What do they mean by division 2 teams? I assume this is just all the team in the open cup with the Eurocup being the 1st division. Cool that we get a few more places in the cup, hopefuly one of the 12 clans wont fold b4 the tourney is over :P. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
