EuroCup VI Invitations Released Tomorrow

ClanBase are announcing the list of invited clans for the Counter-Strike EuroCup, tomorrow at 21:00 CET on #eurocup (Quakenet IRC). The announcement also goes on to explain some invitations may list two clans, instead of one:

"In some of the EuroCups, two clans are listed for some of the invitations. This means they are invited to play a qualifying match against each other to decide on that EuroCup spot. These qualifying matches have to be scheduled by Thursday 24h CET and have to be played from Saturday 14th to Friday 20th. The normal scheduling rules (cfr. cup rules) apply."

	DArtagnan Infinity-eSports 22:19 10/9/2002	Yeh i am blind. I think ONE will get it. Even if they dont have any success, it will be very good for ONE in terms of gaining experience. As being in the eurocup forces to practice properly, research ur opposition. It will only make ONE better. Also it will help them get pcw's vs euroteams if they are in the eurocup. 	Toomy 23:41 10/9/2002	the way the gap gets smaller is when you prove you're not as far behind, getting into the ec doesn't prove this, ONE proved they have gotten better by a small amout if you compare cpl qual result and gdoc, but 13-4 still isn't even remotely close. oh, and never end a post with "gg, thx, pld" [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

	Dr_Evil^ 01:20 11/9/2002	Do the UK get two places cos I assumed since its UK and Ireland for the Open Cup it would be the same. So id have thought dNC would get the 2nd place. GL to One if they do get in but tbh I cant see it happening with the number of top clans about atm. However a good run in the Open Cup would be a great reason to get in to the next one if it does come to that. Either way I hope the UK & Irish clans do well. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
	PHB 14:18 11/9/2002	Well last EC there was 2 places for UK and one for IE. IeS - Noc - dNC got those places and I think noc did the best out of all overall? I don't know if there will be two places for UK this year since the amount of German clans etc. this year that are at a higher level than ONE/Noc But perhaps.... However that's when all the complete team changes were going on, so a completely unsettled team. This time we expect to make it to the playoffs, and after that hopefully aim to make the lan finals.
