- Version 0.944 of Punkbuster (the 'o so good anti-cheat program) is now out. Older versions will not work so you must download this new version.
- With the current progress of the Counter-Strike bots, it's a race to see who can create the most realistic opponent first.
Steffan from Realbot announced a while back that he's working on a revolutionary navigation system - and now Count Floyd of PODbot announces the advanced movement that will be present in PODbot 2.0:POD 2.0 is now able to do some tricky movement stuff to reach otherwise unreachable places. IMO the best part is the 'learning' of jump connections. When waypointing a map you show the Bots how to reach a special position by doing it yourself. POD-Bot then remembers how you reached that place and sets some special connection flags. This means there's no additional jump flag/jump waypoint, all your previously set waypoints remain intact.
- Counter-Strike.net has updated with news of fixed 1.0 > 1.1 Mod version installers. They also explain what to do if you've been getting "de_dust cannot be opened/upgraded" type errors.
- Full Assault have added an article called, The Counter Strike Armory. Where they review the Counter-Strike weapons.
- 3D ActionPlanet discusses the ever-controversial topic of Camping.
- And lastly, Bradley Wong from OzCstrike.com talks about the importance of Counter-Strike's first round in Strategy 2: 1ST ROUNDS.
