Eurocup VI Latest Results

Another few matches to report in the CS Eurocup VI, all of which were crucial matches between some of the continent's best clans. First up, Austria's finest, Infernum, took on Schroet Kommando on what I for one though would be a close match. Certainly not. Infernum ran away with the match, 44-4.

The first map was Nuke, where Infernum's defence as CT proved far too strong for SK...12-0 Infernum. SK, however, didn't manage to put up quite the same resistance on their turn as CT, with Infernum taking the half 8-4. The next map to be played was Inferno, and clanbase has the scores listed as 12-0 in each half to Infernum. Since there aren't any screenshots though, I'm guessing Infernum wrapped up the match pretty sharply, and SK left. Infernum look to be getting back to form, unfortunately for dNC, whom they're scheduled to play tomorrow.

Next up, the biggest match up of the night...eoLithic versus mTw.se. This match, yet again, was probably more one-sided than people had imagined, with eoL running out 30-18 winners on Dust2/Train. Dust2 was the first map and it was where eoL did most of the damage, winning 8-4 and 9-3 as CT and T, respectively. Train proved much closer with both sides winning the CT half; 8-4 for mTw.se and 9-3 for eoL. A full report can be found on clanbase.

The final match of the night saw SK.de in action again, this time against French clan armaTeam. The maps were Aztec and Inferno, the score was 28-20 in SK's favour. Initially, SK looked to be up against it when aT took Aztec comfortably, 16-8. However, a fine showing on Inferno saw them win both halves 10-2, no mean feat against top opposition.

In other news, it seems Infinity-eSports forfeited their match against re-flex, although I haven't heard why yet. Re-flex are credited with a 48-0 win.
