WCG 2002 - Latest CS Results, Upcoming Fixtures

As you'll have read below, I-eS have managed to beat the reigning WCG champs, LnD, in a quality match on dust2. Whether you're interested or not though, there have been a bunch of other matches taking place in the knockout rounds. Here's a quick round-up of the latest results:

Winners Bracket - Round 1

• Infinity-esports 16 - 8 [:LnD:]
• M19 13 - 1 x-stars
• GoodGame (Mayers) 14 - 10 Team 3D
• neRve 17-7 mousesports

Losers Bracket - Round 1

• sk1ll 13 - 11 FMJ.invictus
• Utilpost 13 - 17 iCHOR (After overtime)
• Sky 13 - 6 The elder Gods
• nEph 14 - 10 Reality

So there you have it, many expected victories, but also a couple of shocks in there. Perhaps most notably that of Canadian side, neRve, who managed to pull off a cracking 17-7 won over mouz. French side, Goodgame, continue to look extremely strong after taking out North America's top clan, 3D.
