Bits and pieces of news I've found from the last 2 days:

Weighing in at a mighty 221 MB and lasting over 10 minutes, Killing Spree 5 was released yesterday. It stars many names from across the globe, and like the others its been made by goseY & matrix. There’s a few mirrors listed on the website.
Gamers.nu's ask Ask HeatoN has been updated (again) with reader submitted questions.
What do you think of the norwegian player, Element?
Extremely skilled player and probably one of the best in Norway. He was probably the best player in CPL Summer 2002.
European heavyweights SK.swe will not be taking part in the CB EuroCup VII. In a statement posted a few days ago, they said:
We don't want to show our tactics before the upcoming CPL event in Cannes
SK have been replaced by fellow Swedes, GameOnline
After just one month of accepting sign ups for the CPL Summer 2003 Event, all team spots have been filled, including the 900 BYOC spots.
Over at PC Game World there has been another article written about the gaming world, entitled 'Professional Gaming'.
What if when you turned on your television and instead of choosing from a three hour baseball or hockey marathon, you could watch the top 2 Counter-Strike clans duke it out?
Like most of these articles, it's quite interesting.

I've met my hairdresser about 20 times, and I've spoken to my Uni lecturer about 7-8 times outside of lectures, but that doesn't mean I know their reaoning behind every decision they make in life. There is no consititution in England giving any citizens the freedom of speech. You are thinking of America. No, I'm thinking of here. Just because there's no explicit freedom of speech (hey, there's no constitution in the UK AT ALL), doesn't mean I wander round the streets thinking "Ooh, will I get arrested if I say this?" I'm hardly starting a revolution with what I said ("OMG he insulted bds, arrest him!"). I didn't even insult him, I simply stated my opinion that he has probably withdrawn his team from the Eurocup due to his personal feeling that CB is a corrupt league, constantly siding for germany, and against him if needs be. The short version of that sentence being: Sulking. Because hey, no other teams in the Eurocup are competing in CPL Cannes right? But they're OK to play, aren't they? And it must be SO difficult to use simple tactics in the Eurocup, maybe go out earlier than expected, and then win in the more widely-regarded CPL LAN. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]

If you think I engage in some meaningless menial job with bds each time we meet then perhaps your analogy is apt, I wouldn't give it good odds though. Lastly I don't claim to know anyone's reasons for doing something as you do, I would suggest however that knowing someone's character gives you more of a handle on why they might act a certain way than reading posts on websites.
