Round Up: NPU's Closes, HLSW 1.0, SCEE Back

Without drawing your attention away from the UKT Northampton too much, I'd just like to report a couple of things happening:

• Starting with the sad news that fellow newsie's No-Powerups have announced they are now closed. No-Powerups were originally started to cover not only the 'bigger' clan and event news, but also the smaller less known ones. Here’s the statement:

  Due to an increasing lack of enthusiasm from both staff and community members alike I have taken the executive decision to shut down the site.
  I would like to thank those of you who have clung on until the bitter end; it's a shame for it to end so soon, but I think no-powerups has had it's time.

• Version 1.0 of popular server browser HLSW has been released. Unfortunately the full change log is in German, but there are a few changes mentioned in the announcement. Click here for a list of mirrors.

• Long established UK clan SCEE have come back from the shadows. Their IRC topic had read that they were inactive and some players had left, however they are now back with a team featuring all the old faces, with DK admitting one or two more fresh faces could be added. Meanwhile SCEE.ladies are also back, and are defiantly looking to add new players, interested parties should contact Ms^DK.
