The History of eSports / Euro CS Round Up

• A guy called xredebility has written the 'unnoficial history of everything to do with eSports'. The accounts takes you right through all the important events in the eSports world as he tries to make a history journal. The log which consits mainly of European Counter-Strike happenings is pretty interesting. However you cant help but feel the guy has too much time on his hands. Here is his reasoning for writting it:

  I started recording history of eSports since the November 28 because I noticed that nobody is doing it. Take a look at sports. Soccer, ice-hockey, whatever sport, they all have a history. Therefore I think it's important that we record the 'major' events happening on the CS scene in case it will once become a sport.

• SK|HeatoN has been interviewed by a Swedish website about the CPL Cannes event which SK.swe won. A translation has appeared so I recomend you check it out. Although short the interview is pretty decent. As always here is a preview:

  Sounds promising, but whats next for SK? Any LAN you plan on going to?
  Next tourney for us will be Clickarena in France, which we are practicing for now, will probably be a bootcamp before that as well.

• Finish team All* have had to make roster changes once again with Robin, Zet0r and Scratch going inactive. Like SK.de they have turned to some ex Quake 3 players to make up the roster and have recruited 3 fairly unknown players in Foggen, Aim and Kuukie. To introduce Kuukie to the CS world gotFrag did an interview with him.
• diGital has left Finish clan Ocrana after having a bust up with some of the members. His main reason for leaving was the 'bad atmosphere' that was around the clan. Also you can't help but think it may be due to some dissapointing results as of late. Fragbite interviewed him.
