Half-Life 2 for Xbox ?

Lots of confusion at the moment surrounding the issue of Half-Life 2 for the Xbox. An article published yesterday from the Puget Sound Business Journal suggested that unlike CS:CZ there will not be an Xbox version of HL2. Microsoft's Xbox product manager David Hufford had this to say:

As of now, Half-Life 2 is not going to be on the Xbox ... Valve is sending us mixed messages.

Today however GameSpyDaily confirmed that there will be an Xbox version of Half-Life 2. VALVe's Doug Lombardi said that the game was in development but no firm 'shipping date' had been announced. Microsoft are yet to comment.

	Nick^ 19:18 10/6/2003	It'll look fine on XBox because it's not lumbered with a slow operating system or anything else. Being DirectX based the XBox will handle it fine, matching medium spec (AMD 1800+/GF4) machines for pace. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
	phonics 21:04 10/6/2003	halo 2 runs fine on xbox and has similar graphical standards to hl2 and doom3. (probably somewhere above hl2 and a bit below doom3 in pure processor intensive schenanigans).
