Lan-Europa Delayed

It seems that Clikarena not coming up with the prize money they promised has in some way affected Lan-Europa. the 2500 player byoc tournament which offers some hefty cash prizes has been delayed or possibly cancelled.

I just heard from a pretty reliable source that Lan-Europa has been cancelled. This comes as a pretty hard shock, seeing that it was one of the (probably) last major Quake3 tournaments people were looking forward to.
The reasons are yet unclear for now, but don't worry, we can expect an official press release soon.
Ofcourse it is still a rumour for now, but it's for 90% sure that it has been cancelled.
Update: Lan-Europa only seems to be delayed for now! All the information will be on their website tomorrow. Things are starting to look somewhat brighter!!

As for uk.lans with high prize money look out for intel masters 2 and most importantly the UK World Cyber Games which offers ££££s worth of prizes along with all expenses paid trips for the winners to goto the final in Korea.
