With the recent demise of the Finnish CS scene with the collapse of Ocrana.fi, ePoint and several other teams some months ago, natu recently leaving IronZion and diGital today announcing his departure from xPerience.se it seems there is light on the horizon.
Today it has been announced that Liquid Ice has been born with hopes to show that a Finnish team can compete with the best and that they should be facing off with the likes of SK.swe, 3D and the other CS Powerhouses for the big prizes.
The team itself consists of the above named players with a few other familiar faces:
diGitaL - natu - alfa - tico - Melvin - Guardian - vfak(inactive)
Most of the players have played together for Team-Finland and several can go back to the days of Ocrana.fi and Ig3l so this should put them in good stead teamwork wise.
All that's left to say is Good Luck, lets hope they can prove that Finland has a team worthy of competing with the best.
