4Kings 1st game of Winter CPL 2003

4Kings are about to have their first game of the CPL 2003 Winter Event on de_train. After having a bye past the first round, their opponents in the second round are the highly rated Canadian team EG. According to cpl.netfire.com the HLTV ip for this game will be 194.146.194.9:4001

EG have been seeded 28th which would make 4Kings favourites by far (seeded 5th). Good luck to 4Kings and let's hope that they show EG what their made of.

A scorebot of this match is currently running in #cplcast5 (Gamesnet).

4Kings 7 - 0 EG

As you can see 4Kings take the match 13-6. 4K had a shakey start losing the T pistol round. They then timed out the 2nd round with some nifty hide'n'seek play by hartman at T spawn. If my memory serves me correctly 4K then won the 2nd eco round. This set them up nicely ending the half on 6 rounds a piece.

Second half and 4K had a lot to live up to and live up to their name they did. Rock solid defence as CT meant EG couldn't squeeze a round in. A special medal goes to Harriman who finished the 2nd half without dying.

Final Score: 4Kings 13 - 6 EG

GG to 4Kings, who will now meet Punto CL from Chile in the next round on cpl_mill. Punto CL just beat the Swedish team VIC in overtime 16-13.
