PlanetLAN U.K have uploaded their interview with Mr Ralf Reichert, Managing Director of the CPL Europe and the man in charge of bringing the ELSA CPL European Championships to the U.K:

PlanetLAN: Why the CPL in England?

Ralf (CPL): Well the first thing that went against London, was that it is so unbelievably expensive compared to nearly every other city in Europe, but on the other hand there was always a big scene here, not like in Germany not as big as that. But I think they decided with the LAN scene that Germany is in the lead and with Scandinavia and England it is really popular and getting more popular all the time and I think that the English community is very competitive more so than other countries We also wanted to go all across Europe, but we can't afford to go into some smaller countries because we need a big crowd and there needs to be the market for it as there is the business side of it. I think Germany, England and France are the main markets.
