CPL World Tour Prize Distribution Announced

The CPL today announced the prize distribution of next year's CPL World Tour. Although the countries wont be announced for at least another week we can no doubt look forward to various tidbits of information until then.

The prize distribution is as follows:

Tour Stops $50,000 Purse
1st Place	$15,000
2nd Place	$10,000
3rd Place	$7,000
4th Place	$5,000
5th Place	$3,500
6th Place	$2,500
7th Place	$1,750
8th Place	$1,250
9th - 12th Place	$625
13-16th Place	$375

Finals $500,000 Purse
1st Place	$150,000
2nd Place	$100,000
3rd Place	$70,000
4th Place	$50,000
5th Place	$30,500
6th Place	$25,000
7th Place	$17,500
8th Place	$12,500
9th - 12th Place	$6,250
13-16th Place	$3,750

Equally as important as the countries selected in which to host these events is the game chosen. Possibly on a related note Doom3's worldwide distribution date has been confirmed as August 2nd.

It costs a lot for a player to travel, and probbally only players that are sponsored will go.
