This weekend saw OsloLAN take place with the eventual winners being GameOnline. The Swedish based team put up some great and consistent performances to go all the way to the final which was against online. Online took the loser bracket route to reach the final against the favourites GoL. This meant that online needed to beat GoL on both maps to secure the victory.
The first map in the final was de_dust2 and this was confidently won by GoL with a score of 13-6
GoL were always the favourites for this tournament with the only real challenge for them was a Norway based mix team named its all good. ElemenT, bsl, knoxville, Naikon and Luke managed to give GoL a real scare in the upper bracket semi-final with GoL just took it 16-12 on de_train.
Well played to GameOnline who went home with the unusual prize of a kilogram of gold.
