Due to some lacklustre signups at two of the designated iGUK Centre qualifiers, the events due to take place at CyberGamesZone in Newcastle and GameTheWorld in Ireland have been cancelled. Instead only the events at Harrow Arena on the 3rd and GlobalGaming Arena on the 9th will go proceed with the top 3 teams of each qualifier advancing to the finals at GameOn 60 at Uttoxeter race course on from 22nd - 24th April.
With 22 registered teams now vying for 16 places it is important that the teams contact the centres as quick as possible to confirm their places. At last check only 2 places remained for the Harrow qualifier and 6 for the GlobalGaming event. To confirm your spot at Harrow arena contact Dom (07989 944384) and for GlobalGaming Arena speak to Simon (07941 261811).
Please note you can also qualify on the morning of the event at GameOn #60, to do this you must register for the LAN party and bring your own PC. One remaining qualification spot remains to be used at iGUK's discretion.

have a single elimination upper bracket at start in future, if teams really want to play in the tournament they can still go and treat the first round as a qualifiying round. So then you can have many teams competing without the need for expensive prequalifiers [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
