After an interesting weekend of action down in Newbury at i14, Barcodes came away with the top prize in the CS tournament. The match of the tournament came in the quarter finals though, with fcc, who have always been criticised for their performances on LAN, managing to dump favourites uninspired out of the competition by beating them 7-5 (CT) and 6-1 (T) on dust2. The crowd of 30+ crowded behind each players screen to see quality performances from Headshot^Man and Necroboy help secure the win for fcc.

Team Letters put up a good show defeating eSports edge in the quarters, only to be knocked out by the ever impressive disturbed in the semi's. In the other semi final fcc, who's preperations were hindered by JediBitch's computer refusing to connect to the network, squared up against Barcodes, and lost 13-11 on train. Up next was the final where Disturbed took on Barcodes on de_aztec. Disturbed started well taking the first half 9-3 as CT, knowing that they required 4 to win. Barcodes defended well though, and until Disturbed noticed a weakness late on at site A Barcodes were pretty impressive. Disturbed managed to get the draw, meaning the match went into overtime on de_nuke. Each team was given 4K money and told to play 1 round as each team, and Barcodes managed to win both rounds giving them the 1st place and a fairly decent cash prize and free tickets to i15.

In the amateur tournament SO19 managed to defeat Charlie Potato's, consisting of players such as Wright and TeppuM. Overall it was a fun LAN, with only a few delays hindering it. Look out for a big report soon.
