Week 8 of the CAL-I CS league ended last night, with another round of matches on de_cbble:
Rival 16 - 13 zEx [OT: 4-1] United5 15 - 9 DeadZone TSG 15 - 15 d!e [OT: 3-3] TAU 16 - 14 Team 3D [OT: 4-2] GameWyze 14 - 10 TEC Cyberglobe 13 - 11 Meepins Agent 19 - 5 Malicious Forsaken 18 - 6 xeno shockwave 13 - 0 BiO [Default] Evil Geniuses 18 - 6 SYB ICE 15 - 15 La Resistance [OT: 3-3] Formula1 15 - 9 nFinite
Team 3D's mini slump continues as they suffered a massive shock against a TAU side who have been struggling this season. They'll be counting themselves lucky, however, as TEC also suffered a surprising defeat to GameWyze, failing to increase their division lead over 3D. Elsewhere, Rival and United5 put up good performances to overcome zEx and DeadZone, respectively. The results mean that United5 remain top of the division with only Rival looking like they have a chance of denying them, due to DeadZone's defeat. Agent's victory puts them back joint top of their division after TSG stumbled to a draw.
