Season 10 of the CAL-i CS League got underway yesterday, with the pre-season matches finally out of the way last week. This season's league has a slightly different format to usual, due to the fact that the top two winning teams will now play their final match at the CPL's Summer 2004 event. Full information on the format changes is available over on the CPL site.
Back to the matches, here are the night's results:
So, no great shocks on the first of play. For a full breakdown of results, head on over to the CAL-i site. If you're interested, I'd also recommend checking out gotFrag's post-match coverage where they look at various highlights of the night, such as best/worst players, best performance, and so on.

Az, CAL's run by the CPL, it's their online league. There was talk of a Euro version, but dunno if that'll ever become a reality. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Or maybe we should implement a queue for staff news posts so that they go through a 'reader approval' system first, that's the future dag nam it!
The point being....any news posted doesn't need the approval of the elite few....if you don't like it, don't read it.

Carvell, on my part I guess it's because I'm more interested in that scene (and Swe) than the others you mentioned. In general terms, also the fact that it's directly run by the CPL folks makes it just a little more appealing (due to the good organisation etc). Re Sweden, I think some of the other lads chip in from time to time with news from that scene (ie, SEL). The ones that get a mention are more worthy of it, imo.
