ClanBase Changes CS Ladder Rules

ClanBase have just announced that they are changing the ladder rules for all of their CS ladders. The most notable change is the addition of required wonids.

Clan members can only play with the same wonid they're registered with, unless the other clan is informed and agrees. If a registered player uses a different wonid than the one he's registered with, the other clan can consider him to be a freelancer. If the other clan doesn't agree with it, using a freelancer will result in a forfeit loss.

This has been coming for a long time now, and in my personal opinion, can only be for good. You can see the full list of changes here.

	Del` Sniper's Alley 13:49 10/2/2003	I hope these rule changes help people take CB more seriously again, CS was better back when it was seen as THE league imo, and since there's not been any progress with the European CAL, CB would be a good substitute for the moment. 	VespR 13:59 10/2/2003	Some nations don't offer as good competition us the UK ladder did/maybe still does. As far as I'm aware a lot of dutch clans like to compete in the UK ladder purely because it is harder than their native one. For that I see no reason why they can't compete with us. Although I do object when they start claiming they want wars on their dutch servers :) If you're in a UK ladder, use a UK server all the way. [ Comment: Report \| IP: Logged ]
