UK/IE Cup: Week 5, Day 4

The UK/IE CS Cup, which aims to stand out both as online and LAN event in the United Kingdom and Ireland, started its season with 136 accepted British and Irish CS teams. After the qualifiers this number was down to 40 teams in the Groupstage, which ends its last out of five weeks this weekend, wherein a lot of important decisions are finally made.

Sunday's Matches

	UniCon	38	10	Void gaming	train / dust2	#ukiecup.3
	Four Kings	25	23	Assault Kommando	train / dust2	#ukiecup.4
9pm	CNN	31	17	Rush!	nuke / inferno	#ukiecup.5

The end of the Groupstage is drawing near, five out of the eight remaining matches are being played tonight.

BLACKLiGHT and remOte.uk will indirectly fight it out for the 2nd place in Group F tonight. remOte won the direct battle between this teams earlieer this week, and will try to chase down i:, knowing that if they are the team with a better matchresult of the two tonight, they leave their opponent behind.

UniCon need the win against void to qualify for the playoffs and still have a chance to get level with current groupleaders noLimit and vLr!. If they manage to pull this off with a decent roundscore, they would have a chance to ensure the no.1 spot in the group in their last groupmatch against noLimit.

For Four Kings their match against Ak will be nothing more than a statistic, and realistically seen, this will be the same for the latter, as the result wont have any drastic effect on the groups final standings.

CNN and Rush! face each other in a direct battle for the 1st spot in the group above CAution! and SCEE (who clash tomorrow). The pressure on Rush! rises as a win would ensure them the 1st spot while a loss could send them home with empty hands tomorrow.

Also we played our 1st game (the one we won) with 3 players useing i-es cfgs and controls and i even played with my name as phyree coz i couldnt change it.
