• The gotfrag European official CS rankings have been updated with a few noticeable changes. Since the folding of team9 all clans from 4th downwards move up a place and we see GG in the rankings for the very first time. Our very own 4K are ranked 9th. You can see the rankings along with the World Rankings here.
• OdB Productions have produced a fantastic movie with action from the Clanbase Eurocup 6 LAN which was held in Rotterdam. The movie features interviews with the participating CS clans and some of the players' girlfriends. As usual it is an OdB produced movie so expect cheap remarks and a few laughs along the way. You can find the movie available for download here.
• Infernum announced a new CS squad yesterday consisting of aC1d0r, FreemaN, mDy, SaTi, mochi and archi. The Austrian based team merged with SeeN to advance further in the European gaming scene. Hopefully we will see them in action sometime soon.
• The ¼ finals of the third Nations Cup have been played with last years 2nd and 3rd place teams (Finland and The Netherlands) being knocked out. Here are the results:

  Germany 34 – 14 Slovakia
  Sweden 38 – 10 Finland
  Norway 28 – 20 Iceland
  Austria 32 – 16 The Netherlands

  As expected the Germans and the Swedes march on to set up a very exciting semi-final game between the two. In the other semi-final outsiders Austria and Norway come head to head.
• The first ever Female Nations Cup is now into its final two matches with the semis being played over the weekend. Here are the results:

  Sweden 25 – 22 Norway
  France 28 – 20 Spain

  Can the Swedish ladies become the first to lift the trophy? And will they be sharing the celebrations with their male counter-parts who look as though they could well lift the other nations cup trophy.
• Keeping with Clanbase, in division 1 of the current Open Cup a date has been for the final set between the UK’s very own ONE and their opponents magic. This Wednesday at 21:00 is the date so don’t forget to add it to your diary. For HLTV and a match bot visit #opencup.cs on irc.
