CPL Summer 2004 - UK Qualifiers : Day One

The Cyberathlete Extreme World Championship UK Qualifer is now underway at Landed LAN 7 at the Oxford Brookes Students' Union. With a total of 16 teams in attendance there will be 4 groups of 4 teams to qualify for the Single Elemination Finals to take place on Sunday. In a suprise decision, de_aztec has been selected in the first round map rotation, it will be interesting to see how teams cope with the inclusion of such an unpractised and commonly unused tornament map.

18:17 26/6/2004		 gamefrontier are making some pretty basic mistakes with their events but they have given us a CPL and ESWC qualifier so far ... hopfully they will learn (slowly) how to prepare some HLTV servers in advance and sort out their timekeeping a bit
