After what seems like an eternity of delays, holdups and missed deadlines, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero is finally available on Steam. If, in the very unlikely event you aren't in the know when it comes to Valve's latest release, there's a decent review here courtesy of CS-Nation.
Valve had this to say about the release:
If you pre-ordered your copy of Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (CS:CZ) over Steam, first restart Steam then double click the CS:CZ icon in your Steam Games list to begin playing. Those who did not pre-order the game over Steam can purchase CS:CZ at any time.Special offer extended for CS owners - If you already have a Counter-Strike Steam subscription, order your copy on Steam by April 1st and receive a special price of $29.95 for Condition Zero.
If you haven't pre-ordered CZ, but want to take advantage of the offer above, click here to order and support UKT at the same time!

Is it a seperate game, with both single and online multiplayer in it. Or is it going to be intergrated into CS and totally f*** up the only game I get the slightest bit of satisfaction out of?? [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

From what i can tell so far, there both seperate games. CS:CZ and CS will use two different servers. Ive only played singleplayer so far and its not too bad imo. Nothing amazing, abit cheap, but good for when your net conenction goes down and theres nothing else to do. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

I thought the plan was for them to Merge CS:CZ into CS at version 1.7 this was always the plan.. hence why we got the Sheild and everything....
CS:CZ comes with CS aswell... so i assume they can play on the same servers as the CS guys...
Dont know if im gonna buy it yet tho...
Also it seems to run worse on my PC then CS... 40/60fps :E when i get solid 100fps on CS at all times [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]
