Prodigy Returns For CS:S

Cliffe has announced on the Steam forums that Prodigy is to make a return to CS:S. Here are some pics:

 

Looking good so far. Hopefully some new maps will be revealed in the near future.

loving the 90 degree bend in the train track

Tbh i refuse to believe that the CPL dont realise that there is a lot of work to be done on the game. Im sure (if not stupid) that they will work with Valve to produce a tournament playable game in time for Summer CPL; its in everyones interests.

CPL have already stated that they're working with valve to make the game suitable.

they need to impliment a updated vac into cs:s and also into cs 1.6. As the amount of bs is higher than ever

not really, the only cheat ive seen in cs:s is a speed hack, and only in 1 server.
Just need to make the feel of it like 1.6, so you're not you're running on ice, sort the sound (cant hear ppl behind you?), more de_maps which arent s*** like piranesi, and its already going to be a s*** load better. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Piranesi is a decent public map, but a bit too big for a clan match. Much like Chateau.

Oh, and the soil doesn't seem to be deep enough to allow trees that big to grow their roots, but hey, it's only a game! :) [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Maybe we should change the format into 20v20 then?! Big maps galore!
Or not of course...

looks very good, nice to see they're updating classic maps rather than making new s*** ones. Hopefully we can see a new thunder, foption and the like for source.

Looks very impressive but wont be playing it until i decide to update my computer. In my eyes it looks like it could go a long way to becoming the new cs for the future and of course if the cpl are working with valve to get it perfect then expect it to be perfect in the very near future. Id say source is about 6 months to 12 months away from being "The Game".Valve have a lot of work to do rcon would be nice for a start lol,hitboxes etc need work and netcode isnt that great however its getting better. [ Comment: Report | IP: Logged ]

Those trees are in the background, not growing from the top. Not sure why they removed the cliff, I liked that part of the map.
