CTX go inactive

As the headline suggests CTX have indeed gone inactive. Reasons behind the decision aren't currently clear. From an outsiders point of view, after recently winning GGL 5 and sitting joint top of CSGN in its sixth season one would say they aren't doing to bad for themselves, so I thought I would chase up the man himself ‘NicholaisoN’ and ask a few questions:

Nakara: It seems like a very unexpected announcement as you're currently sitting up the top of CSGN with Lastchance and not long ago were crowned champions of GGL5. I’m sure most people would agree this is a platform to build from, so what were the main reasons behind going inactive?
NicholaisoN: Because, we basically over did it.. trying to play all the time... trying to play our best all the time it just basically wore us to the bone :( We just lost all interest in CS as people were playing WoW alot more and we were just not enjoying CS anymore.
Nakara: Your topic reads you may return, is it probable that you will indeed come back to have another go at the UK CS top flight?
NicholaisoN: We currently don’t know as of yet, people aren’t going off and doing their own thing, we are still staying as mates and still having the odd mix and stuff.. as for coming back.. well you never know ;D but as of yet we have no plans to.
Nakara: As the players aren't going anywhere fast, what are the chances of people going to play elsewhere during this period of inactivity, if this is so could it affect the chances of the team coming back at all?
NicholaisoN: I don’t really think people are gonna go off and do their own thing after working as a clan for so long and being mates for ages.. but the late joiners might sneak off to other teams or what not ;D

With CTX going inactive we see another one of the top UK teams dropping out of the running after forsaken announced their closure only last week. A shame to see them go, love or hate them they were a good team and at their best provided good entertainment and won numerous LANs as well as the online competitions. I myself will be rather disappointed to see them go and feel that CSGN season six title is ever closer now for Lastchance.

I wish them best of luck with what they do next and hope to see them return in the future
