ESL Europe are pleased to announce that they have resumed normal ladder status following progress made by the Cheating Death team.
As some of you may recall the ESL-Ladders were put on hold at the end of December following a bug which prevented CD protection/recognition of cheats. Since then the latest 4.27.2 version of CD has countered such issues.
One week ago we had to close all CS Ladders due to a CD Hack temporarly (news). Following on from today's Cheating Death update (ver. 4.27.2) we are now able to re-open the Counter-Strike leagues again for matches. The current Anti-Cheat recommendation for matches is therefore naturally Cheating Death. In order to be sure that your Gameserver also has the most current Cheating Death, the following command of "cdrequiredversion = auto" must be in the Server config. This can be examined from outside of the server by HLSW before a match.
May the ESL-Europe CS community have many happy days of fast, fun frolickingly good fraggin' to look forward to.
