Lets get fnatic!

With the recent departure of the Counter-Strike squad from SSV-Lehnitz early this month, a new team has been pushed into the lime light feature 4 of the players from that SSV-Lehnitz team.

M&M where formed primarily for the Swedish ESWC qualifiers where they just failed to make the finals in Paris next month. After this the team where offered the chance to take on the role of fnatic.cs and travel to Dallas next month for the Summer CPL Championship.

The team features 3 of the main ex-SSV-Lehnitz players Solido, Magix and Megaton, Digital who played for the team at the recent CPL Brazil world tour spot where they placed a respectable 2nd, and the Norweigan superstar that is XeqtR. The line-up and the official statement from the fnatic management can be found below.

"The Swedish players are all formerly of the SSV Lehnitz outfit, while Digital previously played for Astralis and Destination Skyline. Xeqtr is the name that will probably be familiar to many outside the CS scene, as he had several notable successes with NoA, the team that won the Cyberathlete Extreme Winter Championships 2004 and the first World Esports Games in Korea. He will be playing with the team throughout the summer on loan from NoA. The squad will almost immediately go into action under the Fnatic banner, as they head off shortly to the Cyberathlete Extreme Summer Championships. Here's what Benjamin "Digital" Hildén had to say about the deal: "Fnatic is one of the fastest growing organizations in the world of competitive gaming, and it's a great boost to be part of something like this. It's a great team to play with, and with the support of Fnatic, we feel that we can compete with the world's best."

The new fnatic team should be a very strong contender for this Summers CPL event, whilst many of the top teams will be playing at the ESWC event in Paris during the same week.
