Half-Life 2 Breakdown

Our very own Myers has written a rather splendid article covering the PC's most anticipated game, Half-Life 2. Here's a snippet:

"There is no doubt in anyone's mind that HL2 will be a revolutionary experience that the gaming community will inject with exam-flunking addictiveness. We will buy the game the day it's released, or have it on pre-order, then we will lock the doors, take the phone off the hook and stock up on tinned food and pro-plus.
After the game, when we stagger outside, eyes aching in the bright light, and the smile of self-satisfaction broadening across our faces, what then?"

It went something like: "If you only watch one film this year, make it Stars Wars, but if you watch two, then watch Austin Powers" I was gonna have a similiar thing with Doom 3 and HL2...didn't bother in the end.
