JCal, over on HomeLan Fed, has posted up an interview with Angel Munoz, founder of The CPL. The interview, though fairly short, mainly discusses the CPL's direction and pro-gaming as a reality:HomeLAN - How do you feel about the overall impression of pro gaming tournaments? Do you feel that they have gained more respect as a real sport? He also goes on to say that the CPL 'think that Counter-Strike and Unreal Tournament 2003 seem promising enough to carry us through 2003'. Read the full interview over there. Don't forget to check out UKTerrorist's Angel Munoz interview.Angel Munoz - The best gauge I have for how serious the sport is being taken, is by the increased interest that the media has in the CPL. It is no secret that the CPL has been in discussions with several television executives about bringing the sport to the small screen. But recently the interest has elevated to a much higher level, with very large cable networks contacting us about potential opportunities. Out of all the conversations we are having, I am most impressed with MTV, because of their research and instinctual insight into this new developing market.
