A bit of light-hearted news now...CSNation have posted a rather amusing story about a 15 year old American lad who sent an AK-47 to a Canadian teenager via the US mail. According to the original news item, the boy's mother had bought him the rifle, which he then shipped, stating on the package that it contained an 'aluminium baseball bat'.
Apparently, the two teens had met online whilst playing Counter-Strike and, after chatting about guns, decided they'd like to do an exchange deal; the US teen would give the AK-47, whilst his Canadian counterpart would return the favour and part with his two handguns. As if that wasn't enough, the Canadian has been charged after he allegedly 'pointed the loaded weapon' at someone in his school. If you've got a spare two minutes and need cheering up, read the full story.
To quote a well-used joke these days...Cost of AK-47; two handguns. Cost of two handguns; AK-47. Amusement by mother/teen stupidity; priceless.
