A good day for the UK CS scene, as yet another counter-strike team recieves financial backing. This time, its Infinity-eSports who are being sponsored. The company who have chosen to sponsor them is known as "Sapphire Technologies".

“Here at Sapphire Technologies, a leading manufacturer of ATI based graphics systems, we have pledged funding to eSport team: Infinity-eSports, in order to allow them the opportunity of attending e-Sport events across the globe. The initial six month contract takes the form of both financial and product support whilst Infinity-eSports will provide us here at Sapphire with promotional undertakings in the form of advertisement of the corporate image wherever possible as well as providing Sapphire with the option to utilise the endorsement of team members in future promotions.

Boasting a long list of experienced players, Infinity-eSports are looking forward into the year 2004 and we are sure the support Sapphire will give them shall successfully permit their travel to the four corners of the globe and participation in competitions both large and small.”
