Clanbase CS Nations Cup V: The Final [Updated]

It is finally here, the Nations Cup V Final will be going ahead tonight at 19:00 GMT with the two national teams fighting it out on de_inferno and de_nuke. The nations competing are Finland and France, both of whom proved too strong for the rest of the competition.

Here are the line-ups for both nations:

As you may know, Finland are currently the second most succesful country, behind the dominant Sweden, in the Nations Cup with this being their 3^rd final in five seasons. This alone should be enough to put them as favourites for the victory, but another factor is the ease with which they dispatched of Germany in the semi-final. Germany had previously beaten favourites, Sweden.

France will be seen as the underdogs but it would be silly to write them off as non-contenders for the win. They have many impressive scalps under their belt from the route to the final, including the destruction of our very own United Kingdom, 25-3, in the quarter-finals.

Our very own colour-loving newsie, Zorro, who is supervisor of the Nations Cup, wrote a nice little preview about the match, as well as conducting a pre-match interview, with Dim2k [France] and natu [Finland]; both certainly worth checking out.
