News Makes The World Go Round-up

Due to the UKT LAN coverage in the past three days, we missed a few interesting newsitems. Now who would we be not to keep you up-to-date?
- Counter-Strike 1.3 is out!!!! Well, it has been out for years of course, just no one was able to play it anymore with Steam. Those days are now over, as the crazy guys at CS13mod.com fully integrated this claimed "best CS version ever" into Steam and made it compatible. Be sure to give it a try and if you like it hop in to #1.3 to thank them.
- An interesting thread has been posted on gotfrag, describing all old and new, but current bugs in CS 1.6. Lets hope Valve fix them soon, cause there are some really nasty ones on that list, which can be found here.
- UK's no.1 ladies CS team, SCEE Ladies, have been selected to go to the ESWC. Best of luck girls!
- The esae premium members amongst us will be enlighted by a new feature where "team3D captain and world renowned maxrounds expert Dave 'moto' Geffon tactically breaks down a recent match in audio format". The first installment is the united 5 vs rival match, check it out here if you have a premium account.
- Our nations's no.1 CS league, the CSGN League, has closed its signups, and will shortly announce its teams for the fourth season. For the 10 spaces that opened up, over 150 teams applied, so some people will be sitting at the edge of their seats today/tomorrow when the lucky ones are drawn.
- With only one day remaining till the UK/IE Cup groupstage clash for 1st place in Group C between Four Kings and c4urself (this time with the actual c4u team), which was voted as MotW, a extensive Match Preview was posted on the UK/IE Cup website, including rundowns on the teams, interviews with both team captains, and predictions. Check it out here if you cant wait any longer for this cracker.

If its the Myers/4k ladies LAN finals, fake competition thing that you want explaining ask your team mates!
Nah fvck it I'll tell it. This is a LAN event jennababybabeluvxx 4k.ladies LAN achievements to date read like this. Attend fake WCG qualifying event at LAN cafe who have NO other attendees and win :) Then attend the LAN, all nicely paid for and even have some beautitions give them a makeover, only to have 4 ladies 1 ladyboy play and fall flat on their nicely painted faces.
SCEE.ladies LAN s*** read like this. Get invited to EuroCyberGames. Pay for the travel to France/Paris out of their OWN cash. All attend, get screwed over in the first group game ('cos the other French team were favourites). D1ck the other two teams in their group to reach the 1/4 finals only to have the quater finals cancelled and go right into semis (some1 got scared maybe??).
So your online close victory over 'vixens' jennababybabecakesfaceyhunxx aint carrying any weight cos at LAN its a different ball game and you have to be female and turn up!
That good enough?
