NoA win WEG

Early this morning the finals of the WEG took place with the UK’s 4Kings vs the CPL Champions NoA. The final took place over a three map marathon, featuring Dust2, Nuke and Train. 4K managed to win the first map Dust2 13 – 9. The second map however, went NoA’s way with a convincing win of 13 – 5. Unfortunately for 4K, the final map of Train, has been the cause of many of their exits from tournaments over the last few years and WEG was no exception. The Norwegian and American team came through strong on the final map with a score of 13 – 9.

NoA walk away with $50,000, while 4K take $20,000. With Harriman leaving the tournament early and Snajdan taking his place for the final, it will be interesting to see if the team believe this affected the outcome of the match.

Although there is currently no hltv demos available fragbite.com have been hosting the broadcast matches in steam format on their website. Expect the final to be viewable from the site soon.
