Amidst news of the TAG sponsorship, I-eS receiving backing from Sapphire and Microsoft once and for all settling the debate that Windows gets you the ladies, some of the little teasers of news have escaped the front pages.

• SK have released a new GUI system for tweaking those all important settings and controls. The system includes basic rate tweaking for online play, as well as a handy demo handling system which should make those movies easier to make. For the full list of features head on over to here.
• Jess Cliffe has been interview over at Gamespot about the apparent lack of CS:Condition Zero any time soon. The game was scheduled for a lucrative festive release but has yet to appear in the high streets. Some confusion seems apparent in the interview as Cliffe claims that Valve have already given master copies to Vivendi for publishing. For the full interview head on over here.
• The first public version of HLTV-Tool has been released. The application claims to allow easy one touch recording of HLTV demos with none of the supposed aggravation this usually brings. The feature list is impressive and the author is already busy adding new features for a future release. For more information and a handy link for download, point your rodent thus.
• Those joypad bashing fiends over at Eurogamer have been busy reviewing the potentially thumb destroying console conversion of CS. Using the Xbox live system, and also engaging the single player variant of the game, the review is concise yet detailed.
