After a little wait, SoGamed 3.0 has launched with a new sparkly design to bring you all the usual gaming goodness. The site's extremely slow at the moment, hopefully that'll improve soon. H0n1g has written a 'welcome to...' column containing most of the info you need to know. For anyone experiencing anguish over the new layout: "For those of you crying in despair at the thought of losing the old layout, rest assured that it'll be back within a few weeks, since content and layout has been heavily separated to allow different sets of skins. 	Xt 05:16 10/3/2004	I don't particularly mind the slowness, because I believe the speed will improve once the site is fully up and running. As for the design, with the ability to have custom skins and make it looks like the old SoGamed style, then noone can really complain, because it is giving the user more options. I do however dislike the new minimum set of characters for a nickname (3), which means I can longer use my nickname on the SoGamed site, and instead i'd have to choose a nick like (Xt0), which will just annoy me, and stop me visiting their site. I don't understand why websites/forums do this, some people don't want a name that need 1280 screen res to fully read. This has added a restriction to the new SoGamed site, when it should have taken away restrictions. All in all I think the site will be better, but I believe this to be a stupid mistake.
