As you would probably expect, the people have been busy modding and coding since the release of STEAM, here's what's been produced so far:

• Whist fiddling about with STEAM, you may have noticed the 'change skin' feature. This handy little tool allows you to turn the wonderful software into a fancy, stylish looking masterpiece, or a page from a dirty mag depending on your mood!

  The skinners have been busy bee's this past week, and a few nifty skins have popped up for your viewing pleasure. Of course, with all these skins you need somewhere to host them. Well, look no further than the originally titled 'Steam Skins' website.

  There's only a few skins right now, but with the ability to add your own, I'm sure it will fill up pretty fast. While you are there, don't forget to check out my favourite.

• As well as updating his rather large WONID Database to handle SteamIDs too, lpkane has also been busy working on a handy tool for looking up SteamIDs in-game. To be honest, it's all beyond me, but I gather it's a plugin for the AMX Mod. Here's what the man himself had to say:

  With the release of 1.6 and Steam, Valve enabled the use of HTML, CSS, and other web related stuff in the MOTD file. After seeing a web browser script for Steam, I decided to work out a way to lookup SteamID's ingame.
